Other Materials:
Most applicants will be nominated by their teacher or principal. Once your teacher or principal has informed RISE that you are being nominated, you will receive a link and password to the online application from RISE. If you meet the eligibility requirements above and wish to apply without being nominated first, send your first and last name, the name of your school and your email address to Maiken Bruhis (see below), confirming that you meet the Eligibility Criteria. In that case, application instructions will be sent to you beginning in early January. All applicants must complete the application including three short essays by February 16, 2018. In addition, applicants are responsible for getting a teacher, counselor or principal to complete an online Recommendation Form. Applicants will receive instructions for completing this task when they apply online.
