Expanding Your Horizons conferences are designed to introduce 5th-8th grade girls to careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, (STEM). At an EYH conference you’ll participate in fun-filled hands-on activities. You won’t just learn about science, you’ll get to participate in activities led by real women who work in science, technology and engineering. Here are just a few of the activities you might be able to do! Spend the day building lego robots and participating in a robot demolition derby Build a bridge and learn about engineering principles Learn to extract your own DNA Examine live animals and learn about veterinary medicine Whatever you do, we guarantee you won’t be bored.
