Responsibilities include:
Washing dishes/
Meal preparation/
Cleaning patient pens/pools/
Laundry/

Education (May-August):
In the second session as a youth volunteer, students will become youth counselors or youth interpreters in our Education department. Youth will be required to support Camp Sea Quest or Guest Experience.

Responsibilities include:
Greeting and interacting with the Center’s visitors/
Assisting with onsite programs/

Animal care volunteers provide the daily care of the animals, which includes general cleaning, laundry, dishes, equipment maintenance, weighing, charting records, and preparing food for feeding (and other duties at the discretion of the Crew Supervisor and Youth Programs Coordinator). Youth volunteers may have direct contact with the animals but that contact is at the discretion of the Crew Supervisor and Youth Programs Coordinator, and is dependent upon the volunteer's performance and a variety of other circumstances.

Students may continue volunteering past the initial 8 weeks of the program.
