Description:
Explore science, develop a portfolio, educate others. MSS interns attend and assist
with 6 science seminars per semester during which they meet the speakers.
Sessions take place on Wednesday evenings at Terra Linda High School in San
Rafael, Room 207, during the school year. Interns arrive the evening of a session at
7 pm and assist with set-up, intake, and AV duties. They are free to leave once
breakdown is completed after 8:30 pm. Writing interns interview speakers via
email, blog and post about speakers and event topics. Videography interns record
sessions and create teaser videos about event topics. Both act as content managers
for MSS’s social media outlets.

Other Materials:
Writing interns submit two original writing samples. Videography interns submit two original video samples. These do not have to deal with science. Must have regular access to a computer and the Internet via a web browser or tablet (not just mobile phone). All prospective interns are interviewed.
